ELED 4352 - Educational Assessment for Learning (3 Credit Hours)
This course prepares the Elementary Educator to develop appropriate assessments for students in grades Pre-K through 5. Topics include but are not limited to formative and summative assessment strategies, assessment of learning vs. assessment for learning, interpreting and using standardized test results, and choosing appropriate assessment tools. Particular focus will be upon assesment results to make instructional decisions. Candidates will also practice communication of assessment results to students, parents, and other educators.
