An introduction to the analysis of social data; including the quantification of data for computer application; use of SPSS (statistical package) for analyzing data, logic of statistical inference; statistical techniques for analyzing data, including univariate, bivariate, and multivariate social statistics; and the reporting of research findings. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 1160; SOCI 3001.
