SONO 3210 - Sonologic Application II: ABD/OB/GYN
The course introduces students to sonographically relevant pathologic changes associated with the areas of abdomen, obstetrics, and gynecology. Emphasis is placed on all sonographic imaging modes and their role in pathology recognition. The course introduces students to sonographic anatomy and scanning in areas of the thyroid, breast, and male pelvis emphasizing normal imaging anatomy, scanning protocols, and image orientation. Students learn Doppler ultrasound application for arterial and venous systems of above areas.
