About the Program
The James M. Hull College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and offers the Bachelor of Business Administration degree, the Master of Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Information Systems Technologies (AIST). Students pursuing the Bachelor of Business Administration degree specialize in one of the following disciplines: accounting, finance, management, management information systems, or marketing. Additionally, the College offers a minor in accounting, business administration, and economics.

The Hull College of Business provides a high quality, student-focused education that prepares students to excel in their fields of study and become leaders on a global stage. The programs are highly desirable and develop graduates that are highly recruited. The faculty members advance scholarly understanding and improve the professional practice of our disciplines through collaborative research and service.

Admission into the James M. Hull College of Business
All aspiring undergraduate business, computer science, and AIST students entering Georgia Regents University are admitted as pre-business, pre-computer science, or pre-AIST majors until they meet the pre-requisites to gain admittance into the Hull College of Business.

Business:
All aspiring undergraduate management students entering Georgia Regents University are admitted as Pre-Accounting, Pre-Finance, Pre-Management or Pre-Marketing majors until they meet the pre-requisites to gain admittance into the Hull College of Business.

Pre-Accounting, Pre-Finance, Pre-Management and Pre-Marketing majors will need to satisfy the following requirements for entry into the Hull College of Business: (1) completion of at least 45 semester hours; and (2) completion of the following courses with an overall GPA of 2.5 or above in these seven courses: ENGL 1101, ENGL 1102, MATH 1111, MATH 2210, ACCT 2101, ECON 2106 (or ECON 2105) and MINF 2201. Students may retake any of these courses and only the highest grade in the course will count toward the minimum required GPA.

Management Information Systems (MIS):
All aspiring undergraduate MIS students entering Georgia Regents University are admitted as pre-MIS majors until they meet the pre-requisites to gain admittance into the Hull College of Business.

Pre-MIS majors will need to satisfy the following requirements for entry into the Hull College of Business: (1) completion of at least 45 semester hours; and (2) completion of the following courses with an overall GPA of 2.5 or above in these seven courses: ENGL 1101, ENGL 1102, MATH 1113, MATH 2210, ACCT 2101, ECON 2106 (or ECON 2105) and CSCI 1301. Students may retake any of these courses and only the highest grade in the course will count toward the minimum required GPA.

Applied Information Systems Technologies:
All aspiring undergraduate AIST students entering Georgia Regents University are admitted as pre-AIST majors until they meet the pre-requisites to gain admittance into the Hull College of Business.

Pre-AIST majors will need to satisfy the following requirements for entry into the Hull College of Business: (1) completion of at least 45 semester hours; and (2) completion of the following courses with an overall GPA of 2.5 or above in these seven courses: ENGL 1101, ENGL 1102, MATH 1113, MATH 2210, ACCT 2101, ECON 2106 (or ECON 2105) and CSCI 1301, and two of the following three courses: CSCI 1302, CSCI 2320, AIST 2220. Students may retake any of these courses and only the highest grade in the course will count toward the minimum required GPA.

Computer Science:
All aspiring undergraduate Computer Science students entering Georgia Regents University are admitted as pre-Computer Science majors until they meet the pre-requisites to gain admittance into the Hull College of Business.

Pre-Computer Science majors will need to complete CSCI 1302: Principles of Computer Programming II with a grade of C or better for entry into the Hull College of Business.

Transfer Students:
Students transferring into the Hull College of Business as Business or Applied Informations Systems Technology (AIST) majors are only allowed to transfer up to three Junior/Senior Common Courses and no more than two of the Major Emphasis courses as approved by the College.

The college’s Career and Academic Planning Center provides a comprehensive range of services to help undergraduate business and computer science students reach their academic and career goals. The Center is a student-friendly environment that provides students with academic resources such as computer stations, printing stations, study space, a fax machine, and a copier. Students can also utilize free tutoring services in Accounting, Economics, Management Science, and Computer Science.

The Hull College of Business Office of Graduate Studies provides admissions and registration support to graduate students to ensure the successful completion of the MBA program. To accommodate students who have part-time or full-time careers, all MBA courses and services are provided in the evening or online.
