NURS 4401 - Foundations IV: Healthcare Leadership, Management and Partnerships in Community-Based Care
This course will focus on the development of knowledge and skills needed to promote healthcare of population groups. The course examines the impact of changes of healthcare on aggregate groups. Theories, concepts and models are presented and students have an opportunity to develop competencies of leadership and management needed for collaboration with community members, healthcare providers as well as agencies and resources in the community. The overall purpose of this course is to develop and apply creative and effective roles for managing and leading in the delivery of nursing care.
