The Certificate in Arts Administration prepares students from any major for employment in nonprofit organizations in the arts and cultural resources fields. In addition to acquiring skills such as grant writing and public relations communications, students apply their knowledge and skills in an internship with an appropriate nonprofit arts agency.

The Certificate in Museum Studies introduces students to the range of careers in museums, to the history and evolution of museums over time, and to current theories and debates in the museum profession.  In classwork and in applied experiences, students will gain an understanding of the collection and care of objects; the creation, interpretation, and evaluation of exhibits; and the future of museums in a digital age.
